He received his Ph.D. in Medical Robotics from KAIST. He has served as an Intelligent Service Robot PM at Samsung Electronics Mechatronics Center, Production Technology Research Center, and CTO Strategy Office. He said, "The new growth industry that will lead the fourth industrial revolution era is an intelligent robot that combines artificial intelligence with robots." He says, “Just like Taekwon V and Majinga Z reflect different human emotions, it also requires human mind to develop robots and is important to put humanism into robots.” Although he is an engineer, he is known as a leader who places importance on philosophy, humanistic thinking and flexibility. Like Steve Jobs, who opened the smartphone market with creative ideas and changed the world, he wants to stay in people's memory as a person who flourishes the robot market. What kind of happiness can robots give us? Can he bring happiness to us by giving humanism into the robot?
